Join the Team at Poachers Pocket

We're looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Bar Person to join our busy team at Poachers Pocket. As an important member of the team, you'll help create a welcoming experience for our guests by providing excellent service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining high standards throughout the bar.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing friendly, welcoming and professional service to all guests.
• Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the bar area.
• Keeping the bar fully stocked, clean and organised throughout service.
• Operating the till and processing customer payments accurately.
• Checking identification and following responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Clearing and cleaning tables, glassware and bar equipment as required.
• Supporting the wider front-of-house team during busy service periods.
• Following all company, licensing, health and safety and food hygiene procedures.
• Supporting with opening and closing duties as required.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous bar or hospitality experience, preferably in a busy pub, restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Has a friendly and positive attitude and enjoys providing excellent customer service.
• Is reliable, dependable and takes pride in their work.
• Enjoys working as part of a busy team.
• Can remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Has good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Is confident communicating with guests and colleagues.
• Is willing to learn and support colleagues wherever needed.

Pay: £10.85-£12.75 per hour
