Bar Staff/Waitress

Experienced Bar & Floor Staff – Buona Bottega, Brentwood

Buona Bottega is an independent Sicilian-inspired café, deli and wine bar in the heart of Brentwood. We’re looking for experienced, proactive and reliable hospitality staff to join our team.

We’re a busy, customer-focused venue and are looking for people who are confident on the floor, take initiative and understand what great hospitality looks like. You should be comfortable working independently, noticing what needs doing without being asked, and helping create a warm and welcoming experience for every guest.

The role includes:

• Providing friendly, attentive and confident table service
• Serving wine, spritz, cocktails, beer, coffee and non-alcoholic drinks
• Taking orders and confidently talking guests through our food and drinks menus
• Preparing and serving charcuterie boards, small plates and other simple food items
• Keeping tables, the bar and service areas clean, organised and well presented
• Supporting the wider team during busy services
• Being proactive — clearing, resetting, restocking and helping where needed without waiting to be asked
• Helping us maintain a consistently high standard of service

About you:

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, café or similar hospitality environment is required
• Confident, friendly and genuinely customer-focused
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Proactive and able to use your own initiative
• Comfortable working in a busy environment
• A strong team player with a positive attitude
• An interest in Italian food and wine is a bonus
• Available to work evenings and weekends

Buona Bottega is open seven days a week, with a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend shifts available.
