About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As Bar Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of our bar service, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and supporting our team to deliver outstanding hospitality.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervising and managing bar operations during your shifts, ensuring efficient and quality service delivery
• Preparing and serving beverages to the highest standard, including cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks
• Training and supporting bar staff to ensure consistency in service quality and product knowledge
• Managing cash handling and till reconciliation with accuracy and integrity
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including stock rotation and equipment maintenance
• Ensuring compliance with responsible service of alcohol (RSA) legislation and venue policies
• Monitoring and controlling stock levels, placing orders as required
• Creating a welcoming atmosphere and responding professionally to customer inquiries and concerns
• Assisting with promotional activities and special events

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working in a bar or hospitality environment, with at least 2 years of supervisory or lead hand experience
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
• Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails and mixing techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to lead, motivate and communicate effectively with team members
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Cash handling experience and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
