Bar Supervisor

Job Summary

42 Bar and Grill is seeking a dependable Bar Supervisor to help oversee beverage service, support bartenders, and maintain smooth bar operations. The role is suited for someone with strong hospitality skills who can lead a team while delivering a consistent guest experience in a busy sports-bar environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise bartenders and bar support staff during assigned shifts
• Monitor beverage preparation, presentation, and service quality
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift procedures
• Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and sanitation
• Monitor beverage inventory and restocking needs
• Support cash-handling and POS procedures
• Assist with training and coaching bar staff
• Handle guest questions and service concerns professionally
• Help maintain compliance with alcohol-service and safety requirements
• Coordinate with restaurant management during busy periods and events

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, bar supervision, or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication and team-leadership skills
• Knowledge of beverage and bar-service operations
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per year
