Bar Team Member

Linthwaite House situated in The South Lakes set in 14 acres of woodland and landscape commanding beautiful views over lake Windermere and the surrounding fells.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Bar Team Member to join our team and to be part of our exciting new venture launching The Bar & Conservatory at our AA Red Star Hotel

The ideal candidate will be able to:-

• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Take and process drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

Skills:

• Strong hospitality skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
• Experience in bartending or a willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
