Purpose of the role:

We are delighted to share a rare opportunity to join our long-standing team in the Long Bar.

Linked to the sports area and Club Room, the Long Bar is a traditional bar serving some of the finest ales in town, all on tap. It also boasts a whisky and gin corner, offering a range of rare and sought-after whiskies as well as an extensive selection of gins. Sporting events are streamed live in the Long Bar for fans to watch.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Bar Waiter to join one of our most versatile establishments. Working at the prestigious Derby Arms, with excellent dining and hospitality facilities, you will consistently deliver excellence to our guests by serving drinks to order and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the effective running of the designated section
• Deliver friendly, efficient customer service
• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere
• Keep up to date with all food and beverage menus
• Prepare the working area to set standards prior to service

About you:

• Passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Experience delivering 5-star service in a similar environment
• Basic Food Hygiene Level 1 and 2
• Awareness of licensing laws
