Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to maintain smooth bar operations
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including bar cleaning, food handling surfaces, and general tidiness to meet safety standards
• Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes promptly to ensure a welcoming environment for guests
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, trash removal, and equipment setup with proper safety precautions
• Support food preparation activities in compliance with food service bar safety regulations
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing accurately
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests to provide excellent customer service and address needs promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments with a focus on bar experience preferred
• Strong cleaning skills and knowledge of food handling safety standards within the food industry
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cashiering and order management
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of venue beverage service procedures and catering experience is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer care
