Barback and Bartender

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, preparing garnishes, and maintaining an organized bar area
• Clean and sanitize bar surfaces, glassware, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
• Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes promptly to maintain a tidy environment
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, kegs, or trash disposal with proper safety precautions
• Support food preparation activities in the kitchen or catering setup as needed
• Ensure compliance with food service bar safety regulations and venue beverage service policies
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests to deliver excellent customer service in a lively setting
• Assist with venue beverage service during events or banquets, ensuring timely delivery of drinks

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, bar work, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm is key!
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high hygiene standards
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform manual handling tasks
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
• Knowledge of food industry safety regulations and bar safety compliance standards
• Experience with food preparation or catering is a plus; familiarity with Micros POS or similar systems is advantageous
• A proactive attitude with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour
