Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including bar cleaning, food preparation surfaces, and general tidiness to meet safety standards.
• Restock bar supplies, replenish garnishes, and assist with bussing tables to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment with proper safety techniques.
• Run drinks and desserts to the correct table and assist servers with customers needs
• Ensure food service bar safety compliance by adhering to hygiene standards and alcohol regulations.
• Assist with food industry operations like catering events or banquet setups when needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests to provide excellent customer service and enhance overall venue experience.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or bar environments, including bartending and venue beverage service.
• Strong cleaning skills for maintaining hygiene standards at the bar and surrounding areas.
• Ability to perform bussing duties efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cash handling and order management.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques relevant to bar service and catering settings.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods during busy shifts.
• Understanding of food service bar safety compliance protocols to ensure a safe environment for everyone involved.

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
