Barback / Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the bar is well-stocked, organized, and clean, while also providing exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of service in our establishment, whether it be in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or during special events such as banquets and catering.

Duties

• Assist with drink preparation and serving to ensure timely service.
• Stock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs promptly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations at all times.
• Support the setup and breakdown of bar areas for events or special occasions.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a nightlife or event-driven atmosphere.
• Experience in banquet service or catering is desirable but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2.62 - $35.00 per hour
