Barback / Busser

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback/Busser/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Barback/Busser,/Food Runner you will be responsible for keeping the bar stocked, glasses clean, and dining floor maintained. You will be required to work Food Running shifts as well. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a desire to work in the vibrant atmosphere of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Keep bar stocked with all liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, and glassware.
• Wash and put away glassware behind the bar.
• Maintain cleanliness of floor and bathrooms.
• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, ensuring that all tables are attended to promptly.
• Buss tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including clearing plates and utensils.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service and address any guest needs.
• Help with food handling procedures, ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.
• Provide assistance during special events or catering functions as needed.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or hotel environment is preferred, showcasing your familiarity with hospitality standards.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• A proactive attitude towards helping others, whether it's assisting guests or supporting fellow staff members.
• Understanding of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality in service.
