Job Summary
ZOE Cocktail bar ks seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring smooth bar operations. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly within restaurants, nightclubs, or catering settings. The Barback will assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency at the bar while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure timely service.
• Help set up for events or special functions as required.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the bar environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest experiences.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
