Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing equipment regularly
• Restock bar supplies such as liquor bottles, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils to ensure seamless service
• Assist with food preparation tasks like garnishing drinks and preparing simple snacks or bar bites when needed
• Support bartenders by bussing empty glasses, collecting used dishes, and clearing tables promptly
• Help with food handling and safety procedures in accordance with health regulations
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling and order processing when required
• Ensure all food industry standards are met during service, including proper food handling and hygiene practices
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during high-volume hours
• Support catering events or banquet setups by providing timely assistance in serving or clearing

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS is a plus
• Strong cleaning skills and knowledge of food handling safety standards are essential
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and guests
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks confidently
• Prior barista experience or serving background is beneficial but not mandatory
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and professionalism
• Knowledge of the food industry and catering operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role
