Job Summary

As a vital support to bartenders and the overall venue operation, you’ll ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and running smoothly. Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, glassware, and beverages quickly and efficiently to maintain seamless service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning surfaces, washing glassware, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas promptly to uphold a tidy environment.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, moving kegs or boxes of beverages with proper technique.
• Support food preparation activities when needed, including basic garnishing or assembling simple menu items.
• Ensure all venue beverage service complies with safety regulations and alcohol service policies.
• Use POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions when required, assisting with cash handling and cashiering duties.

Skills

• Strong cleaning skills to maintain a spotless bar environment at all times.
• Experience in bussing, bar cleaning, or food service roles within restaurants, nightclubs, or catering settings.
• Knowledge of food industry standards and hospitality best practices for safety and sanitation.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory management.
• Previous experience in venue beverage service or nightclub environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and restaurant operations enhances your versatility in this role.

Pay: $16.90 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 per week
