Job Summary

Billy Barooz is seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to learn more about food and beverage service.

Duties

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Stock the bar with necessary supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice.
• Handle food preparation tasks as needed to support bar operations.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and notifying management of low stock items.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about mixology and beverage service.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Work Environment

Walk, stand, lift a minimum of 30 pounds, plus more for an 8 hour shift with minimal sitting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
