Job Summary

72 Table & Tap is seeking a dependable and energetic Barback to support bartenders and help keep beverage operations running smoothly. This position will assist with stocking, cleaning, glassware, beverage supplies, and other behind-the-bar tasks while helping maintain an organized and efficient service area.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders throughout assigned shifts.
• Keep the bar stocked with beer, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and other supplies.
• Replenish beverages and bar products as needed.
• Collect, wash, and organize glassware and bar equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization behind and around the bar.
• Assist with receiving and storing beverage deliveries.
• Remove empty bottles, trash, and used items from service areas.
• Help prepare the bar before service and complete closing cleanup.
• Monitor supplies and notify bartenders or management when items need replenishing.
• Assist bartenders during busy service periods.
• Follow restaurant sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol-service procedures.
• Provide friendly and professional support to guests and coworkers when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, bar, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to take direction.
• Ability to lift and carry beverage cases, kegs, ice, and supplies safely.
• Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
