As a key support to our bartenders and service staff, you will ensure the bar area remains clean, well-stocked, and safe, enabling smooth and efficient beverage service. Duties

• Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages swiftly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning spills, washing glassware, and sanitizing surfaces in compliance with food safety standards
• Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas promptly to ensure a tidy environment
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, moving stock, and setting up or breaking down bar stations efficiently
• Support food handling and preparation when needed, adhering to all food safety protocols and venue beverage service standards
• Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing with accuracy
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy hours and assist with venue beverage service needs

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, bars, nightclubs, or catering is highly desirable
• Familiarity with bar cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and venue beverage operations enhances performance in this role
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred for efficient transaction processing
• Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and providing excellent customer service
• Previous roles involving heavy lifting or manual handling demonstrate physical readiness for this energetic position
• Knowledge of food industry safety regulations and hospitality best practices will support your success in maintaining a safe environment

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 12.0 per week
