Fatpour Tapworks is a fast-paced, high-volume beer bar known for its lively atmosphere, stacked tap list, and elevated pub fare. Located in the heart of Lincolnwood, we draw large weekend crowds and host regular events. We’re looking to add experienced, dependable barbacks to our back-of-bar team who are ready to hit the ground running.

Position Summary:

As an experienced Barback, you’ll support the bartending team by maintaining a fully stocked, clean, and organized bar throughout each shift. You should already be familiar with industry standards, fast-paced service environments, and what it takes to keep a high-volume bar running efficiently. This is not an entry-level role—speed, hustle, and attention to detail are a must.

Responsibilities Include:

• Restock beer, liquor, bottled mixers, and garnishes quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, organized bar stations—sweep, mop, wipe down surfaces, and burn ice wells as needed.
• Rotate and prep garnishes, purées, and syrups with awareness of shelf life and FIFO practices.
• Set up and break down bar sinks, garbage stations, ice wells, and service carts with proper sanitation procedures.
• Change kegs and report keg/cooler issues to management immediately.
• Complete nightly deep clean and weekly cleaning assignments as scheduled (e.g., cleaning keg coolers, bottle coolers, glassware organization, etc.).
• Manage backstock areas with accuracy, speed, and cleanliness.
• Assist in trash removal, floor mopping, and cigarette butt cleanup in and around the building.
• Communicate with bartenders and managers to stay ahead of the bar’s needs at all times.
• Clean and organize coolers as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of barback experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Must be 21+ years old
• Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout shift
• Ability to multitask under pressure and work quickly during peak hours
• Must be punctual, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Willingness to take direction and uphold cleanliness standards
• Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
