Duties

• Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, mixers, glassware, and bar tools swiftly and efficiently throughout the shift
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste properly
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment with proper safety techniques
• Support food preparation and service by bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and assisting with food delivery when needed
• Ensure all food handling and safety standards are followed diligently in compliance with health regulations
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing when required
• Collaborate seamlessly with team members to uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality

Skills

• Proven experience in bar service or restaurant environments, including barista or catering experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of food handling, food preparation, and beverage service procedures
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cashiering purposes
• Previous banquet or event catering experience is a plus
• Solid understanding of customer service principles within the food industry
• Experience working in hotel or hospitality settings enhances your ability to adapt quickly
• Knowledge of food industry standards related to bussing, serving, and food safety regulations
