Duties

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they walk in
• Perform professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment
• Engage with clients through active communication to understand their needs and recommend suitable services or products
• Upsell retail products by educating clients on hair care essentials that complement their treatments
• Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, check-ins, and payment processing
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients in a friendly, approachable manner
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques and current beauty trends
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols and maintaining a hygienic workspace at all times
• Effective communication skills to clearly explain services, product benefits, and salon policies
• Ability to upsell retail products naturally while enhancing the client experience
• Experience working at the front desk or in retail sales environments is highly desirable
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
