We are seeking a talented and personable Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to client preferences
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable services or products
• Upsell retail products to enhance client experience and salon revenue
• Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation at all times
• Follow all sanitation and safety protocols for tools, equipment, and shared spaces
• Build positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals

Cleaning and Maintenance Duties

• Clean personal station after every client, including chair, tools, counter, and surrounding area
• Perform turn‑by‑turn mopping duties throughout the day to keep the salon floor spotless
• Disinfect clippers, scissors, combs, and all tools according to health and safety standards
• Assist with end‑of‑day cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, garbage disposal, and sanitizing surfaces
• Keep washrooms, waiting areas, and common spaces tidy and presentable
• Restock towels, capes, and cleaning supplies as needed

Experience

• 3–4 years of experience as a Barber or Stylist preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
• Knowledge of current hair styling trends and techniques
• Familiarity with salon sanitation standards and cleaning procedures
• Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining excellent client rapport
• Experience in retail sales and front desk operations is an asset

Additional Requirement

• Be prepared to bring your volunteer model for a trial demonstration during the interview

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,000.00-$5,000.00 per month
