Barber

Make this your chair at DJB Kidderminster

We're looking for a barber who takes pride in sharp, consistent work and the way clients feel in the chair. DJB is an independent barbering business with a shop on Oxford Street in central Kidderminster.

Our core haircut appointments allow 40 minutes for a proper consultation, precise cutting and a finish that suits how the client actually wears their hair. Clients book their barber by name, so the quality of your work can build a loyal following.

This is a self-employed opportunity with the freedom to choose your own working days and hours. We offer competitive self-employed earnings and will explain the working terms clearly before you decide.

What you'll do

• Deliver classic cuts, skin fades, restyles and beard services to a consistent standard.
• Listen to each client, agree on the result and give practical styling advice.
• Keep your tools and station clean and follow professional hygiene standards.
• Manage your appointments reliably and make every client feel welcome.

What we're looking for

• Confident scissor and clipper skills, including strong fade work.
• Good consultation skills and an easy, professional manner with clients.
• Reliability, attention to detail and pride in your finished work.
• Examples of recent cuts you can show us.

What you can expect

• The choice of your own working days and hours.
• Clients able to book you by name.
• A 40-minute standard for core haircut appointments.
• A central Kidderminster shop at 20–21 Oxford Street.

Apply through Indeed with a short introduction, your barbering experience and a link to recent work if you have one. Tell us what kind of cuts you do best and the days you would like to work.
