Responsibilities

• Provide professional haircutting, styling, trimming, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools, adhering to health regulations
• Engage with clients through friendly communication, understanding their needs and offering expert advice on styles and products
• Upsell retail hair care products and additional services to enhance the client experience and increase sales
• Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting guests, and processing payments efficiently
• Keep detailed records of client preferences and service history for personalized future visits
• Stay updated on the latest hair styling trends, techniques, and sanitation protocols to deliver top-tier service

Experience

• Proven experience as a barber or hairstylist with a strong portfolio of diverse styles
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect confidently with clients from all backgrounds
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper tool maintenance practices
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring clients feel heard and valued
• Experience in retail sales or upselling products is a plus
• Familiarity with front desk operations or appointment scheduling systems is preferred
