Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Barber Educator to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for training and mentoring aspiring barbers, sharing your expertise to elevate their skills and confidence. You will play a vital part in maintaining our high standards of service while fostering a positive learning environment. Your communication skills and organisational abilities will help ensure that our future barbers are well-equipped to succeed.

Duties

• Deliver comprehensive training sessions on barbering techniques, tools, and customer service standards
• Develop and implement educational programs tailored to different skill levels
• Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to students and junior staff
• Demonstrate proper use of barbering equipment, including clippers, scissors, razors, and styling products
• Collaborate with management to schedule training sessions and monitor progress
• Maintain detailed records of training activities, assessments, and student achievements
• Promote a positive learning environment that encourages growth, creativity, and professionalism

Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively teach and motivate students
• Strong knowledge of barbering techniques, tools, and industry trends
• Experience in teaching or mentoring within a barbering or related field is desirable
• Proficiency with IT systems for scheduling, record keeping, and presentations
• Exceptional organisational skills to plan training sessions and track progress
• Ability to clearly explain technical concepts and demonstrate practical skills with patience

Pay: £150.00 per day

Ability to commute/relocate:

• King's Lynn PE30 1EJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Barbering: 5 years (preferred)
