Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction on barbering fundamentals, hair styling, hair coloring, and grooming techniques
• Supervise students during practical training sessions to ensure safety, proper technique, and adherence to hygiene standards
• Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and industry trends
• Mentor students on professional development, client communication, and career pathways in the beauty industry
• Incorporate advanced skills such as skincare, facial treatments, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and hair extensions into training modules
• Assess student progress through evaluations, practical demonstrations, and written assessments
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment that encourages creativity, learning, and professionalism

Qualifications

• Proven experience in barbering with strong skills in hair styling, hair coloring, hair threading, and grooming services
• Extensive knowledge of cosmetology principles including anatomy relevant to aesthetic treatments and trigger point therapy
• Prior experience teaching or mentoring students in a classroom or salon setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with advanced beauty treatments such as esthetic laser therapy, dermabrasion, facials, makeup application, nail care, and deep tissue massage
• Ability to develop lesson plans that incorporate both technical skills and industry standards for adult learners
• Strong communication skills with a passion for inspiring students to succeed in their careers
• Valid certifications or licenses in barbering, cosmetology or related fields are required; additional certifications in skincare or massage therapy are a plus
