About the role

Mankind Barbers' is seeking an experienced Barber to join our team at our busy shop at The Tannery in Christchurch. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our clientele, ensuring they leave our shop feeling confident and well-groomed.

What you'll be doing

• Providing a range of men's grooming services including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims
• Maintaining a clean, well-organised, and professional work environment
• Engaging with customers in a friendly and personable manner to understand their needs and preferences
• Advising customers on the latest trends and styling techniques
• Collaborating with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
• Upholding the brand standards and contributing to the overall success of the business

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 1 years experience as a professional Barber
• Excellent haircutting and grooming skills, with the ability to provide a wide range of services
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build rapport with clients and co-workers.
• Eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of work
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including a day at the weekend.
• A passion for the barber industry and a desire to continually learn and grow
