Duties

• Perform a variety of barbering services including haircuts, hair coloring, and hair styling tailored to client preferences
• Provide expert advice on hair care, color theory, and hair treatments to enhance client result
• Lead and mentor team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, makeup application, nail care, and retail upselling strategies
• Foster excellent client communication by understanding individual needs and delivering personalized service experiences
• Oversee retail sales by applying retail math skills to promote products such as hair care items and cosmetics effectively
• Maintain detailed records of services performed and ensure all sanitation protocols are strictly followed

Skills

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with strong skills in barbering, hairstyling, coloring, and hair extensions
• Proficiency with salon management software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills to build lasting client relationships
• Deep knowledge of sanitation practices to uphold a safe environment for clients and staff
• Ability to mentor team members in technical skills including hair threading, makeup application, nail care, and retail techniques
• Strong store management capabilities including staff supervision, inventory control, and retail upselling
• Familiarity with cosmetology licensing requirements and ongoing education in hair care trends and techniques

Pay: $20.00 - $99.00 per hour
