Barber/Stylist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our team. As a Barber/Stylist, you will provide exceptional customer service and deliver high-quality haircuts and styling services to our clients. Duties:

• Provide professional haircuts, hairstyling, and grooming services to clients of all ages
• Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer expert advice on suitable hairstyles
• Perform various hair treatments, including shampooing, conditioning, and coloring
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hairstyles and grooming techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Sanitize tools and equipment after each use to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
• Upsell salon products and retail items to enhance the client experience
• Assist with front desk duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
• Strong customer service skills to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for clients
• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
• Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, trimming, and shaping hair
• Knowledge of different hair types, textures, and styles
• Ability to upsell salon products and recommend suitable hair care products for clients' needs
• Familiarity with sanitization procedures for tools and equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
