Duties

• Provide professional hair cutting, styling, trimming, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
• Deliver excellent customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering expert advice on hairstyles and hair care.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
• Upsell retail hair care products and styling tools that complement clients’ needs, enhancing their overall experience.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling client inquiries efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with clients throughout their service to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
• Keep workstations organized, sanitized, and ready for each new client to uphold hygiene standards.

Experience

• Proven experience as a barber or stylist in a professional salon or barbershop setting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse clients.
• Knowledge of current hair styling trends, techniques, and products.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Experience with retail sales of hair care products is a plus.
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Prior front desk or receptionist experience is advantageous but not required; excellent communication skills are essential.
