Bargeman

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in loading, unloading, and securing waste and materials on the barge.
• Monitor and ensure proper placement and distribution of cargo.
• Assist the barge crew during docking, undocking, and mooring operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the barge and work area.
• Assist in waste handling and segregation as required.
• Conduct basic inspection of equipment, tools, ropes, and other operational materials.
• Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, spills, or incidents immediately.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
• Coordinate with the Barge Supervisor, Operations team, and other crew members.
• Perform other duties related to barge and waste management operations as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in barge, marine, hauling, waste management, construction, or similar operations is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
• Willing to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: Php18,100.00 - Php19,692.92 per month
