Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each cup meets quality standards.
• Mix, garnish, and serve a wide range of alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to guests, taking orders accurately and delivering an engaging experience that encourages repeat visits.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and bar area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light bites to complement beverage offerings.
• Manage cash register operations, process transactions accurately, and handle customer payments efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, alcohol supplies, garnishes, and other essentials; restock as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food safety, alcohol service laws, and sanitation practices.

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista or bartender with a strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with an energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and adherence to hygiene standards.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for accurate cash handling and measurements.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods without compromising quality.
• Familiarity with serving protocols and techniques for both coffee shop and bar environments.
• Effective communication skills to engage with guests confidently and work seamlessly with team members.
