Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with accuracy and flair
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Handle retail sales transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling and sanitation practices in accordance with food safety guidelines
• Serve food items and beverages promptly while engaging positively with customers to enhance their experience
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista or in food service, with knowledge of beverage preparation techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage warmly and professionally with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and giving correct change
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
