Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process sales transactions efficiently
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and give correct change with precision using basic math skills
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling surfaces, beverage stations, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards
• Restock supplies regularly to ensure availability of ingredients, cups, utensils, and other essentials for smooth operations
• Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and beverage service to ensure a safe experience for all guests

Experience

• Previous experience working as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with café environments is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and engage positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations within the food industry
• Basic math proficiency for processing cash transactions confidently
• Experience in beverage preparation, especially coffee or specialty drinks, is desirable
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
