Barista

Location: King George’s Avenue, Singapore (3 minutes walk from Lavender MRT Exit B)
Working Hours: 5 days work week, 44 hours per week (including weekends)

We are looking for a passionate and service-oriented Barista to join our growing café team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys beverage creation, customer engagement, and working in a fast-paced café environment. Candidates with strong potential will be groomed for future Assistant Manager / Manager career progression opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation & Quality Control

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, mocktails, and specialty beverages according to company standards
• Support beverage development and introduce creative seasonal drink ideas
• Ensure consistency in drink quality, presentation, and portion control
• Monitor beverage trends and contribute innovative concepts to enhance menu offerings
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of coffee machines, tools, and beverage stations

Customer Service & Operations

• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming café experience
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Support smooth day-to-day café operations and teamwork
• Coordinate beverage preparation for events or catering requirements when needed
• Ensure counters and preparation areas are fully stocked and operational

Inventory & Hygiene Management

• Assist in stock ordering, stock rotation (FIFO), and inventory monitoring
• Check ingredient freshness and ensure proper storage practices
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitisation, and food safety compliance at all times
• Support end-of-day cleaning and operational closing duties

Requirements

• Passion for coffee, beverages, and hospitality
• Experience in barista work, café operations, or beverage preparation is an advantage
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Responsible, proactive, and hygiene-conscious
• Willing to work weekends and rotating shifts
