Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
• Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to maintain hygiene standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and assisting with menu selections.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas throughout shifts.
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Assist with food preparation tasks when required, ensuring quality and presentation are upheld.
• Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during peak hours while maintaining high service standards
• Maintain clean environmen.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices is advantageous.
• Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
• Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing demands in a lively setting.
