Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and handle cash, credit, or mobile payments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Follow food safety protocols during food handling, preparation, and serving to ensure quality and compliance
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing accuracy or quality
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness

Qualifications

• Prior barista experience required
• Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of the dial-in process for espresso beans
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
• Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of basic coffee drinks and how to assemble them
