Hours: 38 hours per week (guaranteed)

Location: Australind, Western Australia

Salary: $71,550 per annum (full-time equivalent)

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages to a consistently high standard
• Operate, calibrate, clean and maintain commercial espresso machines and grinders
• Take customer orders and deliver friendly, attentive front-of-house service
• Apply milk texturing techniques and latte art to a professional standard
• Manage coffee stock levels, assist with ordering and minimise wastage
• Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist in training junior staff on coffee preparation techniques and quality standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Barista in a commercial café or hospitality setting
• Demonstrated proficiency with commercial espresso equipment and grinders
• Strong knowledge of coffee extraction, grind adjustment and milk texturing
• Current Food Safety Handler certificate, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
