Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Handle retail sales transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Clover.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas
• Manage cash handling accurately, including cash register operations and balancing at shift end
• Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and serving food items in accordance with safety guidelines
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks seamlessly while upholding quality standards

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service environments with café experience preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
