Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring high quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide friendly service that exceeds expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage stations, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities by processing cash transactions and balancing registers at shift end.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Support team members with time management during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service with a strong understanding of beverage preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, transaction processing, and inventory counting.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper cleaning protocols.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining attention to detail in food industry standards.

Pay: $18.75 - $23.40 per hour
