Barista

Overview

We are a mobile coffee shop seeking a friendly and skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coffee preparation and be passionate about delivering excellent customer service. This role involves preparing a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and operating POS systems to ensure a seamless customer experience. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a key role in bringing high-quality coffee and exceptional service directly to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and non-alcoholic beverages with attention to quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and transactions
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including cleaning equipment and ensuring the mobile shop is tidy and inviting
• Handle basic math accurately for cash handling, change, and inventory management
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service to create a positive experience for all patrons
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the mobile coffee station as needed
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar coffee preparation role
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and non-alcoholic beverage preparation
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Ability to operate POS systems efficiently
• Strong cleaning and organizational skills to maintain hygiene standards
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work independently in a mobile setting, adapting quickly to changing environments
