About the role

To craft and serve high-quality beverages according to shop standards, while delivering the best customer service experience and maintaining cleanliness of the work area.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and brew both coffee and non-coffee beverages according to shop recipes and standards
• Adjust coffee grinder settings (Dial-in) and check espresso shot extraction quality daily
• Steam milk and create latte art to shop standards
• Check quality of ingredients, taste, and appearance of every beverage before serving to customers
• Greet customers with a warm and friendly manner
• Provide recommendations about beverage menu, coffee beans, and bakery items accurately and engagingly
• Take orders and record data in the POS system accurately, including payment processing
• Listen to customer feedback and resolve initial issues courteously and professionally
• Clean and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other bar equipment before opening, during the day, and after closing (Daily Cleaning & Backflush)
• Check stock of ingredients (coffee beans, milk, syrup, glasses) and alert when reordering is needed

About you

• At least 6 months to 1 year of barista experience (or willing to learn if no experience)
