Duties

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining excellent cashiering standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas in accordance with food safety standards
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or beverage options, and ensure a positive experience
• Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in food preparation and beverage service
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service with knowledge of beverage preparation techniques
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours seamlessly
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks
