Duties

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as CLOVER to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards.
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, give correct change, and manage daily cash handling procedures.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling food items or snacks when required.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Help to maintain accurate inventory by restocking and communicating outages daily as needed

Experience

• Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
• Familiarity with POS systems like CLOVER or Square is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations and cash handling accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in beverage service or café environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidates.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
