Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces regularly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and manage customer payments efficiently.
• Follow food safety standards and health regulations at all times during food preparation and service.
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers promptly during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experienceis preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Knowledge of food safetystandards and procedures is desirable.
• Experience in servingcustomers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
• Good basic mathsskills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Strong time managementskills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members.
