Duties

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care
• Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using POS systems
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service with café experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of beverage service techniques and non-alcoholic drink preparation
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction processing
• Effective time management to handle multiple orders during busy periods
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper cleaning procedures in a food industry setting
