Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as square POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using POS systems
• Assist in food handling and preparation tasks to ensure quality standards are met at all times
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards

Experience

• Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments, and giving accurate change
• Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
