Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle transactions using the till system.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to customer requests and inquiries.
• Follow health and safety guidelines related to food handling and hygiene practices.
• Assist with food preparation when required, including light snacks or accompaniments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
• Experience in serving customers in a busy environment is desirable.
• Basic food preparation skills are beneficial.
• Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Ability to perform basic maths accurately for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanour.
