Barista

About the role

As a Barista at Serasan Coffee Community, you will be the main face of our coffee experience. Your role involves not only serving the highest quality coffee, but also creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for every customer who visits. You will be involved in the entire process from beverage preparation, maintaining workplace cleanliness, to building relationships with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and non-coffee beverages according to Serasan Coffee Community standards
• Provide friendly, fast, and professional service to customers
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the bar area, equipment, and customer areas
• Check quality of raw materials and ensure stock availability
• Implement grooming and personal hygiene procedures according to Serasan standards
• Educate customers about coffee products and their stories
• Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment and support colleagues
• Operate cash register/POS and handle transactions accurately
• Follow SOP in terms of service, cleanliness, and presentation
• Assist with special events or community activities organized by the café

About you

• Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Barista (fresh graduates considered)
• Passion for coffee and interest in learning more about coffee
• Clean and good attitude
• Able to work in a team and possess good communication skills
• Ready to work with shift system, including weekends and holidays
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Basic ability to operate coffee machines (espresso machine) preferred
• Desire to grow with Serasan Coffee Community
