Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing exceptional service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
• Handle cash register operations, process payments efficiently, and give correct change using basic math skills
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when needed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and keep lines moving smoothly
• Follow all food safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff

Experience

• Previous barista experience is required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is essential
• Knowledge of food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards in food handling and preparation
• Serving experience that demonstrates strong customer interaction skills and professionalism
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order processing
• Experience in food preparation or working in fast-paced service environments is a plus
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
