Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drink options with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Handle retail sales transactions with cash handling expertise and basic math skills to ensure correct change and receipts
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally
• Assist in food handling and food preparation tasks to support overall café operations
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers swiftly while maintaining quality standards

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar café or food service environment with beverage service expertise
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform food preparation tasks and assist in basic drink crafting techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Competence in cash handling, processing cash transactions accurately, and performing basic math calculations
• Experience in retail sales transactions and cashiering functions within a fast-paced setting
